ZUGFeRD Compatibility
finaX API supports to read and write ZUGFeRD files.
From version 1.5.0 the API supports to read ZUGFeRD Comfort profile (EN-16931) files. Other profiles
(MINIMUM, BASIC-WL, BASIC and EXTENDED) are currently not supported. The PDF creation endpoints create
ZUGFeRD files according the XRECHNUNG profile.
What are ZUGFeRD profiles? - The different profiles allow to embed different amounts or levels of information into the XML included in the PDF file. There are only a few fields needed to fulfill the requirements for the MINIMUM profile - whereas EXTENDED is much more comprehensive.
